By creating an account or using Selah, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1) Scope and Changes
Selah is provided for personal study, learning, and related non-commercial ministry or church use.
Selah is in active development. Features may be added, changed, paused, or removed.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
2) Accounts and Access
You are responsible for account security and password confidentiality.
Do not share accounts or attempt unauthorized access to other users' data.
We may suspend or remove access for abuse, fraud, or harmful behavior.
3) User Content
You keep ownership of notes and content you create.
You grant Selah permission to store and process your content to provide sync, search, and product functionality.
You are responsible for ensuring your uploaded or created content is lawful.
4) Acceptable Use
No abuse, scraping, bulk extraction, service disruption, reverse engineering of protected systems, or bypassing access controls.
No attempts to exfiltrate data, escalate privileges, or interfere with other users.
No use of bots or automated tools in ways that degrade service reliability for others.
No unlawful, infringing, or harmful use of the service.
5) Paid Plans, Trials, and Billing
Some Selah features may require a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods, and included features are shown at checkout.
Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until canceled.
If offered, free trials convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial unless canceled before renewal.
You can cancel renewal from your account billing settings or through the platform where you purchased (for example Apple App Store or Google Play).
Unless required by law or platform rules, paid fees are non-refundable after a billing period starts, and partial periods are not prorated.
Where billing is handled by third parties (for example Stripe, Apple, or Google), their terms and refund policies may also apply.
If payment fails, we may retry charges, limit paid features, or downgrade access until billing is resolved.
We may change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes apply on your next renewal unless otherwise stated.
Purchases are for current access rights and are not contingent on delivery of future features.
6) AI-Generated and Educational Content
Selah may use AI and multiple source datasets to provide summaries, insights, and study support.
We strive for accuracy and take care to ensure correctness, but content may still contain mistakes, omissions, or outdated interpretations.
Selah is an educational resource and is not a substitute for pastoral guidance, professional counseling, legal advice, medical advice, or formal theological study.
You are responsible for reviewing generated or summarized content before relying on it.
7) Intellectual Property
Selah retains rights in the app, interface, software, and original materials we create.
You retain ownership of your own content, subject to the limited license above for service operation.
Third-party Bible texts and study resources remain subject to their own licenses and terms.
8) Disclaimer and Liability
Selah is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent allowed by applicable law.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of Selah.
